Pancake finds a tied-up man
Who: Justin Pancake
Where: Promenade's
When: Before the Promenade blew up
Justin had been following Rosette closely ever since she had started attacking
people. He peered out from safety, his eyes bulging with the awe he felt for
her.
Also he had another agenda. He again picked out the note he'd been keeping in
his pocket. "You have potential" he read to himself, then plunged it back into
his trousers. "Yes I do!" he said certainly. He'd not spent much time into
wondering who had been sending him these messages, and why they were doing it.
If he did he'd realise he was being manipulated very well.
Justin wasn't that much of a clever guy, and most people actually thought he was
downright annoying. Probably because of his rudeness, not to mention his bizarre
fetish over Rosette and anything Hymenoptera. It was pretty disturbing to
everyone but him.
In his hand he held a syringe which he'd taken from the Medibay earlier. It was
empty, and Justin experimented pulling out the plunger and filling it with air.
The he looked at Spidette. She was stomping around causing destruction. If only
he could get close and jab he needle into her leg, he could suck out as much
blood as he'd need. Then he'd give the blood to Keto and hopefully Keto could
produce a way for him to turn into a Hymenoptera also.
He got closer to Rosette, taking shelter in the doorway of one of those shops
that sells nuts and dried fruit. The kind that you only see old people going
into.
He snook up behind Spidette whilst she was busy dismembering some Security
Guards. He ducked as entrails flew past his head.

The sudden explosion collapsed downward, the entire promenade, which ran the
entire length of the ship fell from beneath their feet, smashing through the
deck plates below, taking everyone, and everything on the promenades lower level
with it.

Justin felt the floor underneath him crumble, which was an odd sensation. He
fell downwards, followed by rubble, metal, glass and the entire contents of the
dried fruit shop. His fall was actually broken by 38 thousand sultanas.
Getting up and out of the sultanas, it was only then that he realised the
devastation that had been caused. He looked up to see a large hole above him,
where the Promenade shop fronts loomed over him. A pain in his head caused him
to touch his scalp, where he realised the syringe he was holding just a few
moments ago was now stuck into his skull.
Cautiously, he pulled it out.
There were screams all around him, and crewmembers were pulling each other out
of the rubble. Rosette must have still been around somewhere, because Justin
could still hear gunfire. He picked his way over the uneven surface, giant
chunks of flooring in his way. Throughout all of the screams, he headed to one
in particular. It seemed to be coming from a doorway up ahead.
The doorway was buried in rubble. He pushed a few pipes away to see the door
clearly. "Corridor of infinite perversions" it said in bold letters on the door.
Justin groaned. This was the message that he kept seeing everywhere, from
spaceships, to trees back in Sherwood forest. It had gotten him into trouble
many times, but also it had guided him to interesting places. He still had no
idea who was writing these messages, or why they would even bother.
He pushed open the door and allowed his eyes to adjust to the light.
The screams he had heard were more like muffled noises. Like someone screaming
through a gag.
"Seymour?" He said.
Tied to a chair in the centre of this room was Seymour Niples. His lips were
pressed together, and he couldn't speak.
"Okay I'll untie you!" Said Justin and rushed over. After a few moments of
searching, he then said "There's no rope. How can I untie you if there's no
rope?" he paused. "How can you be tied up if there's no rope?"
Seymour continued to mumble as if he had a rope around his mouth, but Justin
couldn't see anything. It just looked like Seymour was pulling a funny face as
he tried to open his lips.
Justin eventually put his hands over Seymour's face and felt and invisible rope.
He pulled it off, allowing Seymour to speak.
"Oh for the love of god, you took your time!" Seymour said. "How long does it
take to realise the rope's invisible?"
"Well... I'm not used to things being invisible." Justin said.
"Well you should have realised."
"I'm sorry. I suppose a fart's invisible but I still notice tha-"
"I've been tied up here for hours!" Seymour said.
"Who did this to you?"
"I did!" Seymour said seriously.
"Oh. Sorry. I'll go and leave you to it." Justin said, walking off.
"No you moron!" Seymour sighed. "Why do I have to explain myself to idiotic
commoners like you? There's another me onboard."
"Another? One's enough!" Said Justin.
"He's evil. He has a pencil-thin moustache."
"But that's just a fashion choice. How does that make him evil?" Justin asked.
"He just is! He's from a parallel universe and everything." Seymour said. "We
have to stop him. He could be anywhere.
Justin removed the invisible rope. "Is he invisible too?"
"No. That's a mime-rope. He's from a dimension where the mime-army rules
everything. Imagine hundreds of thousands of people wearing black and white
stripes, a beret, and white make-up, all pretending to climb an invisible
ladder."
"Smeg!" Said Justin.
"Exactly!" Said Seymour. "He might be trying to create a portal back there, and
bring them into this dimension."
"Smeg!" Said Justin. "Lets go find him!"
<tag. Onion, or was it Phil? Where is the other Seymour?>
