Out of the Doggy Bowl, into the Frying pan
<sorry if this appears twice, Yahoo is terrible>

"Don't be ridiculous man!" Said Keto. "Rosette LaChance is a big enough security
risk as it is. She's almost killed us all once before by contacting the
Hymenoptera and letting them know our location. Captain Chrysler is stupid to
keep her on board in my opinion!"
Justin looked sullen. "I thought you'd understand." He said.
Their conversation was cut short as a kennel door behind them burst open and a
large robotic dog burst out, and bounded towards them.
</snip>
"I'll thank you for talking like that when i'm close by later. For now we need
to get out of here." Rosette said, pushing Justin down from the edge of the
bowl, and pulling Keto from it.
"We have to go, now!" Jayne said from below. As the dog was electromechanical,
it had no requirements to eat, and thus just seemed to bark at them. This
wasn't such a great thing, as its barks felt like being smashed with a real-size
hammer all the time. Rosette felt like cutting its head off, but thought that
might look a little suspicious. The group ran as fast as they could through the
shop to get to the other side. Another air vent sat at floor level, pumping
warm air throughout the stores. Luckily since Holly was offline, so were these
vents.
"I smell chip fat and burgers." Justin murmered. He was right though, the vent
cover on the other side was already missing, seemingly melted into the sea of
chip fat that lay on the floor, coating it like a vicious acid. Over the years,
each layer had solidified and become more of a waxy-finish to the already filthy
floor. On top of the early layers were the more fresh ones, still thick and
gloopy. It looked thick enough in some places to suck the three-inch people to
their deaths.
"I need a sample of this... It may be useful for a new ointment i've been
working on..." Keto said quietly.
"Is it one that's meant to melt something?" Rosette asked, to which Keto paused
for a moment in thought, before saying "Not really, no."
"Look, the wallpaper is loose all over the place, we could use it to climb up!"
Jayne said, leaning around the exit of the air way.
"But that leads up to the chip fryer, that thing will cook us if it spits..."
Justin said, worried about his future.
"I'd rather not go through that again, if i could." Keto said, having already
been boiled alive.
"But on the other side, the counter runs all the way across to the next shop,
thats where we need to be!" Jayne said, having remembered the readout of the
psi-scanner.
"Chip fat is unhealthy, und unsafe." The german Health & Safety officer piped
up, finally. The others were all wondering why he hadn't quit already. The
ship was probably the most unsafe place in the galaxy for normal people, let
alone people that actively seek out dangerous things.
"After you then, Mr. Health & Safety. You can go first and let us know the way
is clear." Keto suggested strongly, pushing Wolfgang forwards.
<tag. sorry its short, i thought i'd better get the action moving though!>
