Rosette: Claustrophobia
<snip>
"That was Jed... She replied, picking up her radio. "This is The
captain, I need security teams all over the ship, we have a
Hymenoptera on the loose!"

Rosette was feeling happier, now that she had a new set of knives.
These didn't have the handy laser blasters on top of them though...
She'd have to ask Rufus for some more next time she saw him... Her
mind jumped back and forth as she tried to remember how she lost her
old ones... Maybe someone had them?
As she had been made a part of the crew now, Rosette needed to help
out with finding Jed, to stop him from doing any more damage around
the ship. He'd gone into the vents, but he was quite large... this
would probably give Rosette the advantage, as long as she took a gun
with her. heading for the armoury, she grabbed one of the samller
laser pistols, and headed into the vents.
"Goddamn metal vents..." she cursed to herself, *clunk* the metal bent
and buckled under her movements, echoing through the whole system.
Her knives lay on her bedside table, being too large to use easily in
the ventilation system. A radio was clipped to her belt, a cable
running up to the headset.
"I hate the vents too, but he's got to be in there somewhere..." Amber
replied over the radio, she was keeping an eye on the radio chatter
throughout the ship, in case of reports of activity. Not only that,
but the real captain could return at any moment (ooc: HINT HINT) and
then everything would change again.
Nevertheless, Rosette crawled on. Every movement caused the vents to
creak, the sounds made it feel like the metal was creeping in slowly.
Each and every foot that she edged forwards made the metal
box-section feel like a tomb.
Rosette began to breath deeper, harsher breaths, and beads of sweat
began to appear on her forehead. "my god, is there any sign of him
yet?" she said, looking around a corner. Nothing. Just endless
silver, dimly illuminated by low power red lights. She stopped for a
moment to hold her head in her hands, wiping the sweat from her face,
and rubbing her eyes. Each red light seemed to pulse slighyly, and
wobble in the air, as if the vents were filling with water.
"I don't feel so good..." she said quietly. She swallowed to try and
get rid of an acidy burning sensation in her throat, but it wouldn't
go. She looked down the vents in all directions, the ends moved
towards her, squeezing her in even more.
"No! stay back!" she called, firing her pistol in all directions, then
Amber's end of the channel went silent. All she then heard was a
hymenopterran roar, and a sharp crackle as the radio went dead...
