Who: Nikki, Jed and KetoWhere: The MedibayWhen: Just after Keto meets Jed's ugly sideNikki was sat down at her desk trying to organise the files she had compiled on the crew. She had only assessed them observationally but that was always the best way to do it. Catch them unawares as it were. The scream carried all the way down through the medibay into her office making her freeze instantaneously. She ran out of her office and down to Dr. Ketos private lab. She arrived just in time to see legs explode out of his patients chest and eight eyes appear on his face. Keto had clambered underneath his desk and was shouting profanities at the human-opteran. Nikki turned on her heels to get away when a spear like spiders leg pulled her back into the room. She managed to squirm away from the hybrids grip, and ran to the corner of the room surrounded by various weapons none of which would be terribly useful against this freak in front of her. She looked up and saw her escape. She jumped up grabbed onto a shelf and swung off the lights and through the open door. Keto was still being terrorised by that thing, but he had temporarily focused his anger upon Nikki. She ran down the medibay followed by the angry screams of a Dr. Keto who was about to become a rather nice dinner for a very big insect. She skidded to halt outside of the medical supplies cabinet.She tore open the door and began ripping through the shelves. Ointment, Ointment, More Ointment! This isnt a medical cupboard its an ointment shrine! Finally she found some medicinal alcohol and ran back to the lab just as the creature had managed to rip the desk off the floor. Nikki threw the alcohol all over the thing and its hymenopteran parts began to dissolve away, and retract to within its body. Keto had managed to clamber to his feet and was now stood panting and glaring at Nikki. The man that was whimpering naked on the floor looked up at Nikki and Keto with confusion. Nikki looked down at him in absolute shock before she realised he was stark naked and lying in a huge puddle of alcohol. Nikki reached round the corner and got him a lab coat to wear.Jed was confused. Here he was stood naked in the medical bay when hed only come to see if he could regain his memory. What had Keto done to him! There was a woman there now; she looked half scared and half sympathetic. She left, leaving him alone in the room with this mad Doctor who was pushing himself up against the wall. Now he thought of it he was thirsty... VERY thirsty. His thoughts were interrupted by the small voice of the doctor telling him to put the damn white coat on as if were the biggest of his worries. He stood up in the lab coat and made to exit the room, when the guards came...Whiskey? You want me to drink all of this?! Nikki nodded. Jed must have looked angry as the entire room backed off at least 3 feet, but he couldnt understand why he was a threat. Nikki stood opposite him and thought of Justin, how she had stood there and watched him with the same curiosity but this wasnt a psychological challenge it was a medical challenge and she was medically trained. Keto was stood there mumbling something about never having another patient again. Maybe she could help. Jed was in the holding cells, he wasnt going anywhere for now...<Tagging anyone.
