JP - Part 1: The Bony Beast of Bristol

Where: All over the galaxy!When: Back when we were still at earth space station.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~---- Snip ----The dark haired girl, a few steps behind a woman in a suit, looked relatively inconspicuous as they walked along, the darker haired girl looking very jet-lagged and tired. She had been diverted off her escort mission to the Hymenopterran delegation for the alliance, leaving Dante and the other JMC personnel to the job. She had been diverted here, to this station where she met a very odd suited woman who had so far, said very little except that amber had a new mission. A top secret mission.Amber walked along the street, next to the strange woman who had identified herself as Miss Jones. Amber scowled and kept silent, walking into the room the woman gestured to. The door slammed shut behind her, and Amber was plunged into darkness.She could hear someone, something else breathing, she was not alone in here.---- Snip ----The breathing stopped for a moment.  "Is someone there?" asked a woman's voice, before the breathing continued.  It was quite shallow breathing, relatively fast.  There was only a single light in this room, far away, a long line as if it were the gap underneath a door. The light moved and the breathing quickened, a deep rumbling sound seemed to fill the room, as if thunder had boomed and shaken the inhabitants."Yeah... I'm here. I'm guessing either you are really hungry, or we aren't alone in here." Amber said, dropping into a ready status, her senses all on high alert. "Yeah.. i'm hungry... but that wasn't me." Rosette replied, drawing her daggers.  "You got any weapons?" she asked.  The light continued to move, rising upwards to reveal a pair of huge, clawed feet.  The light expanded enough so that the two could see each other.  Their ready positions gave each other a little more confidence in the situation, at least both of them seemed to know what they were doing.A loud snorting sound echoed towards them, as if the large beast was sniffing loudly at the air.  It had probably smelled them already, and was waiting until the door had fully opened...  It obviously didn't have the mental capacity to duck.  "Wow.. they must've stopped by the arboretum..." Rosette joked, even though she'd not actually seen any huge monsters in there, it wasn't much of a stretch.  Rosette moved away from Amber, hoping to confuse it a little."Got a laser pistol and a block of Incinerex. Think you can buy me enough time to get up there and shove this down it's neck?" Amber said, following suit and moving away from Rose so that she was in a flanking position once it came out of the door. "Heh." Rose laughed.  "Better plan than I would've come up with." She replied, moving closer to the door.  "Depends how fast it is." She added, hiding behind one of the large pillars that held the roof up.  Each one of them was a large steel girder, spread out evenly around the room.  Taking them down to drop the roof on the beast was out of the question, it would take half the pillars before anything would happen.  The Incinerex seemed to be the best option."Please be slow... please be slow..." Rosette chanted slowly to herself.  The door had finally finished opening, and the beast took its first step into the room.  The whole place shook, before Rosette pulled together the courage to look at the beasts head. "What the hell is that?!?" she exclaimed, the head was like something out of a game, horns sticking out of every point possible, and teeth that would put a shark to shame.  It's small eyes peered into the room, as it continued to advance.Amber had a similar reaction before launching herself kamikaze style at the beast and screeching something in Hymenopteran. She grabbed onto a bony horned fragment on the creatures knee and began to climb her way up until she saw a weakness in the chitinous hide to place the bomb."Woah..." was all Rosette could say in response. she ran towards it, shouting all the way to try and get its attention.  She blasted it a few times with the small lasers on her knives, aiming for its head.  It roared at her, and began to move.  Amber struggled to hold on, so Rosette moved forward to meet it, diving to the side at the last minute, as it stopped.  "Hey, Fugly! over here!" she called, blasting it some more.  She used the blades on her knives to dig into the bolts on one of the pillars, and climb to its head height.  "come on, stupid... don't do something clever now." she hoped, and waited for it to move towards her... Watching for that one single opening to jump on top of its head.Like ants on a pile of sugar, Amber and Rose clambered about the creature, slowly pinging it and only really serving to annoy the foul thing. It took a few minutes, and was harder than she anticipated but Amber reached the neck-plates of the hunched beast. She set the charge on the Incinerex and casually back-flipped to the floor. Yelling at Rose to get clear of the monster."Don't need to tell me twice!" Rose called back, and ran down its back, to the tail that almost reached the ground.  She jumped from it about half way down, and hit the floor in a roll, returning to her feet in time to feel a warmth on her back, followed by chunks of bony flesh hitting her in the back, and flying past her.  She turned back towards the monster, and saw nothing but a pair of feet with legs attached to it.  "Eww..." she said, flicking her arm as a lump of flesh slowly made its way down her arm, aided by the blood that seeped from it.She walked over to Amber.  "Smooth moves, but now I'm gonna have to wash my hair again." she said to her, picking some bits from it."Good work ladies, you passed the first test. You certainly are ready for the mission." A voice from the darkness said."Alright buddy." Amber said, waving the blaster dangerously towards the voice. "Tell me what's going on around here or you'll be going the same way as Uglyzilla there."
