Kara - "The Infinite Headache"
Kara sat in the seat of her Starbug with her feet up on the dash. She was lookingat her new set of stripes on her uniform. Lieutenant, finally a bit of recognition forall her hard work since her death. She was right back up to where she was beforeshe died for some reason it just made her feel alive. She didn't know why though. Of course though the issue at hand was the multiple Blue Dwarfs that had popped upthanks to yet another cock-up in the space-time continuum. Thankfully she was used tothis kinda thing cause any normal person who hadn't been a crew member aboard theBlue Dwarf for a while would most likely be crying in the corner braiding their hair fromthe sheer insanity that occurred on a regular basis. As the Starbug landed in the docking bay Kara was checking up on her weapons to makesure that they were ready at a moments notice. As she was checking her blaster one last timea horrible pain shot through her head bringing her to her knees. "Smegging hell." Karacursed as she gritted her teeth in pain. Ever since the Space Corp had installed that new program into her interface she had been getting headaches. Recently though theywere only getting worse. She had forgotten to have Holly remove it and check if it was having any negative impacts on her. After a few minutes of pounding pain the headache wore off and Kara got up. Shedusted herself off and exited the Starbug. The docking bay looked very strange. It seemed as though the ship hadn't been taken care of in ages. As Kara walked alongshe could feel herself stepping in something horrible every few steps but didn't wantto find out what might have been all over the floor. She wandered through the corridors which were in the same horrible condition. Shepulled out a scanner and checked for signs of life. There were some not too far awaybut they were very faint. She tried to navigate her way to the life signs but the shipwas so twisted up she couldn't rely on her memory of the Blue Dwarf to get around._________________________________________________________ "What is that?!" A rough Scottish woman's accent growled as she pointed at a viewscreen that showed Kara wandering through the corridors. "Someone on theship ma'am." A scared British man's accent answered. The woman struck the man and let out a small annoyed sigh. "You know what I meant you little shit." She snapped. The woman glared at the screen and gasped as she noticed somethingelse. "How is that possible?" She asked. The man got up off the floor and took a look at the screen. Kara looked in the camera's direction but she didn't seem to notice it was there. The screen pausedand the woman stood up. "Ma'am....she looks....just like...." The man said. Thewoman leaned forward the light from the viewscreen revealing that she lookedexactly like Kara except she seemed dirtier and was wearing some strange leatherclothes. "Bring her to me." She ordered._________________________________________________________ Kara sighed in frustration. She was getting nowhere fast and a couple of thelifesigns had disappeared from the scanner. "What the smeg is with this place?"She asked as she scratched her head. She kept walking until she heard move-ment behind her. She whipped around and noone was there. She slowly turnedback around and swore she saw someone dart down the corridor in front of her. She quickly pocketed the scanner and pulled out her blaster. She slowly made herway down the corridor. She reached the corner the person had zipped around and leaned against the wall. She slowly peeked around to check if anyone was still therebut the corridor was empty. She began to go around the corner but then she feltsomeone coming up behind her. She darted around just in time to dodge a pipeto the head. She turned around and there was a group of people there who looked familiarto her. But before she could recognise any of them another surge of pain in her head brought her down. As she kneeled on the floor gripping her head the grouprushed her attacking her with whatever they had on them. Kara tried to fight backbut the pain was just getting worse. <Tag!
