A Tuneful Landing...

<OOC> Sorry in advance for the terrible dialogue that this post is bound to have!<Who> Jayne, Katrina, Phil<where> The Phoenix<When> Shortly after the multiple Blue Dwarves began appearing.Jayne skilfully piloted the Phoenix toward the Jupiter construction yards. She, Phil and Katrina were returning to the Blue Dwarf for the first time since the outbreak of the Krylon war, which would please Jay no end, partly because he'd be reunited with his girlfriend but mostly because he wouldn;t have to entrust the Phoenix to Jayne anymore and he could once again sleep at night instead of laying awake in a cold sweat panicking that there might be a bit of dust in one of the manifolds.Jayne slowed to manouvering speeds and checked the scanners. "Commander..." she said to Phil "Something's not right here..."Phil came through to the cockpit "You're telling me" he said "There was only one 'Dwarf when we left! See Katrina!" he said, looking back over his shoulder to the back of the cabin where Katrina sat "This is what happens when you take your eye off Jay for more than a minute! Five minutes as Captain and he's bloody duplicated it a billion times!""Kelly.." Jayne asked the ships' AI "Which one is OUR Blue Dwarf?""No way to tell" the computer replied "Guess you'll just have to pick one...""You're the ranking officer Phil" Katrina said "Which one do you like the look of?""That one..over there, in the West end of the cluster of ships.." he replied, picking one seemingly at random. "Take us in cadet!"The Phoenix touched down a few minutes later, and the occupants exited via the boarding ramp. The landing bay was surprisingly dark, and there seemed to be noone about."Hello?" Shouted Katrina. "anybody here?"Suddenly, out of nowhere a band started playing, and the lights came up so quickly and so brightly that the three Blue Dwarfers from the "host" universe had to shield their eyes.Several crew members, including many of the ships senior crew appeared out of nowhere, dancing along with the band for a few seconds until they stopped and turned to the visitors."Welcome abooooooooard!!The JMC Blue Dwarf,We hope you enjoy your Staaaa-aa-aaaaaay!""they're singing..." said Jayne"Make yourselves at home, but before you do too much...We ask that you follow us!And come and see Captain Jaaaaa-aa-aaaaaay!""They're dancing..." said Katrina
 
"What....the....smeg?" was all Phil could muster.
 
"Oh, of course you're not from this ship!" the singing continued
"We don't know about your relationships...
Where are our manners, allow us to introduce...
Ourselves to yooooooou!"
 
"there's really no...." Phil began but was interuppted when the hangar again went dark, save for a spotlight that fell onto a familiar figure, who again began singing, this time in a solo.
 
"I'm the Chief of navigation
But you can call me Amber
I'll make sure while you're here
Your ship will be looked after..."
 
As she said this a spotlight fell on the Phoenix and several flight technicians darted across the hangar and began cleaning and refuelling the Phoenix.
 
The spotlight then moved on to someone else, who began another solo.
 
"I'm amber's father, the ships XO,
I'm sure you know my name is Phil.."
 
he was suddnely distracted and began to panic
 
"Oh no Ladies you better go!
TOO LATE! HERE'S MINI-PHIL!"
 
Jayne felt something on her leg, and looked down to see the midger humping her right knee. He looked up, and he too began to sing.
 
"Eee eee ee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Ee ee eeee eee ee eee eeeeeeeee!
ee e eEE eeee eEE eEe eeeeEEEEEEEee
E eee e e e e EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
 
Jayne shook him off and drop kicked him across the flight deck then looked back up to the singing crew, someone else was in the spotlight now, the music took on a darker tone.
 
"I am the general practioner,
The medical commisioner
If ill, come by my medi-bay
Ask for me, Doctor K!
My ointment will keep you ails at baaaaaaaaay!"
 
"Keto's singing?" Katrina asked
"hold up..." Phil replied "They're not done yet...."
 
The spotlight again moved onto someone else...
 
"My name is Harris Chief of Security
Of this giant space-ship city,
You need to see the boss, so I'll make sure when you go,
you have an escort from Mr Dante Wendigo!!!"
 
Harris gestured toward a large figure in the corner of the room, Dante nodded as the music stopped.
 
"Er...yeah thanks " Phil said, not really knowing what to say "Can we, er, go see the captain now?"
"Sorry! We don't understand!
Please say that again with the help, of the baaaaaaand!" sang everyone, making an elaborate gesture toward the band.
 
"I am NOT singing!" said Jayne
"Just humour them!" Phil said
 
"Er...take us to your leader...
I;m sure he'd like to meet.....um....HER!!" Phil sang, pointing at Katrina as he sang the last word, clearly struggling to think of an adequate rhyme.
 
"Come!" sang Dante "Follow me...
I'll take you to the one who leaaaaaaads!!"
 
And with that, the lights fell and the curtain closed to mark the end of the scene....
