Dancing Pancake
A loud roar came from the distance. They could see a creature the
size of a bus dissapearing into a far-off cave.
"Is that a Draco-llama?" Seymour asked the Mollopods.
"Yes. That was a small one." he pointed to the dark cave ahead of
them. "Yours is in there."
The team braced themselves and entered the cave.
Justin picked up a stick from the floor and wrapped a hanky around it.
"Do you need a hand lighting that?" Jay said.
"No, dont worry. I drank some of the Mollopod alcohol earlier. If I
burp on it, it'll be fine."
he burped onto the rag and then used a lighter to light it. The flames
grew so large that it removed his eyebrows and most of his hair around
the sides, giving him and odd mohican.
"Oops!" Justin said, as he watched his hair fall as ash.
Jay lead the way, being genuinely brave. With Justin following close
behind, being stupidly brave. Very soon out of the shadows a large
form ran up to them, in the dull light from Justin's torch they could
see the very large creature named the Draco-Llama.
"It's like a dinosaur" said jay. Before ducking out of the way if it's
mighty jaws.
Justin just stood and gazed in awe. "The Draco-llama!" he exclaimed.
"It really exists."
Jay pulled him to the side of the cave. "Get down you fool. Are you
trying to get eaten?"
"But... the Draco-Llama, I've been searching for this for.... well not
that long. But I've heard mysths for years."
"What?"
"Yeah deffo! It's a mythical creature, I heard about it at some rave
once."
"What?"
"Inside it's bellybutton is a stone of immense power. It can make you
dance at warp speeds, and also gives you the ability to hear trance
music from up to 10 miles away!"
"No way, that's ridiculous" said jay.
"It exists. Look!" Justin pointed to a glowing jemstone in the beast's
belly. It lunged forward to eat someone at the back of the group stood
next to Seymour.
Justin quickly grabbed at the stone. For a few seconds he held onto
it, but it wouldn't budge. Then the dragon pulled itself up to full
height. Justin's legs swung in thin air, and then the stone let go.
The creature roared with pain and then dropped dead.
Justin held the stone in his hands, it gleamed and he saw his face
reflected in it. He could feel musical sounds resonating inside it. He
could feel it giving him power.
Suddenly he dropped it and did a fast-forwarded version of the
moonwalk, vertically upwards. Jay looked up and saw a chamber cut
straight through the rock of the cave.
