With that Rosette collapsed upon the lavish furnishing with open arms.
She jumped slightly as a female voice was heard over head.
"Crew alert, crew alert a new hologrammatic crew member had recently
joined the Pink Dwarf for a temporary assignment. Please welcome a mr…

"Andy... What are you playing at?" Rosette asked herself as she rubbed
her aching feet. The lift opened slowly, prompting Rosette to stand
up straight again. A few men walked in, but luckily paid no attention
to her. It seemed like everyone on the ship was at least partially
gay. Just before the lift closed, a young woman ran in, just making
it. Instantly, she moved over towards Rosette.
"Why hello lovely." she said, leaning against the same section of wall
as Rosette. She repressed the need to scream, and smiled back at her.
Luckily, before the new girl had any chance to do anything, the lift
opened again, allowing Rosette to leave very quickly.
"Right.. Where am I now?" she asked herself, walking towards another
terminal. The map popped up, revealing that she was now several decks
closer, but there were still a few more to go. As she walked, a man
wearing a baby-blue outfit suddenly appeared in front of her, causing
her to fall over in shock.
"Hey! watch it!" she said instinctively. The man turned around, and
held out a hand.
"Andy?" she asked, reaching up to grab his hand, but it went straight
through, and she fell down again.
"ooh, sorry about that.. I keep forgetting i'm soft-light now..." he
said, letting her get up on her own.
"You did that on purpose." she said, beginning to walk alongside him.
"What happened? You're a Hologram now?" she asked, not sure how any
of this worked.
"Yeah, They took a scan of me, so now i can get anywhere i want in the
ship... It's not as if i can break anything..." he said, waving a hand
through a nearby console. Rosette thought about this, and turned to
him, prompting him to stop as well.
"So... Why did you go and make yourself into a hologram?" Rosette
asked, he just smiled.
"If i'm a hologram, i can't be shot, hit, or hurt in any way. And I
can still access computers. Could be useful!" he replied after a
short silence.
"Ok, I can accept that. You need to go and use your hacker abilities
and turn off the lockdown on the 'Dwarf. I'll go and turn off the
tractor beam, or whatever it is they're using to keep us with them...
10 dollarpounds says its something to do with being gay." she said,
ready to ru.... walk slowly towards the stairs down.
