Seymour - "The perfect hotel room"
Posted byPosted: Jan 15, 2007, 3:48pm
Who: Seymour Niples
Where: New Ffion planet
When: After seeing Efof making a cock out of himself
Seymour was in full Ambassadorial mode and was loving it. Ffionian
delegates had been showing him around the city and already he had been
introduced to seven cocktail parties in the classier part of town and
had been scheduled to meet the President of New Ffion tomorrow.
This was all brilliant, he was hobnobbing with this planet's ruling
class. The only drawback was that when he met the president he had to
introduce the rest of the Blue Dwarf crew to him too. He groaned
knowing that unless he briefed the entire crew on etiquette and basic
politeness he was setting himself up for a huge embarrassment.
But things so far had gone well. He had been shown to an incredibly
lovely hotel where the Ffionian delegates had booked him the penthouse
suite. Obviously they assumed he was more important than he actually
was, but Seymour wasn't going to tell them otherwise.
Seymour walked into his hotel room. It had a large window and balcony
that looked out onto the Ffionian city and the beautiful landscape
that lay beyond. The sun was just starting to set and colours were
shining through the clouds on the horizon that Seymour had never even
seen before.
A short cough from behind him made Seymour turn around. A short
Ffionian waiter silently poured him a glass of an extremely fine
looking wine and disappeared.
"Personal waiter service, a lovely view, a delicious wine, and a bed
the size of an Olympic swimming pool
how could this possibly get any
better?" Seymour asked himself.
Of course it could have been better if he could share the moment with
a beautiful woman. But Seymour was too proud, stubborn and self
involved to even think such a thing.
A woman did enter his hotel room. But she entered an hour after
Seymour had left to go see a fancy Ffionian opera.
Rosette entered the room and threw her rucksack on the bed. She had
recently managed to acquire proper employment on the Blue Dwarf and
sent on this away mission. She had also managed to blag a night's stay
in this swanky hotel.
She had no idea that Seymour was staying in the same room, there had
been a mix-up at the reception desk downstairs. The Ffionian had a
peculiar dialect and didn't understand her very much. She had said she
was from the Blue Dwarf and he had assumed she was staying with that
pompous Ambassador Niples upstairs. He had given her the spare key and
she accepted it without asking any more questions.
Rosette was delighted to see that the mini-bar was well stocked and
wasted no time in emptying it. A few hours later she retired to the
massive comfortable bed and fell asleep.
Only half an hour later, someone wearing a tuxedo entered the room and
tiredly got undressed down to his Y-fronts and snuggled into the bed.
Rosette woke up with a shock and reached for the lamp on the dressing
table, ready to blunder the intruder to death
