Joe returned back to BD, only disapointed to find out that most of
the hangers were full, so Joe had to go round to one of the less
used hangers. Joe neatly flew through a connecting tunnel, to the
main hangers, but as he was leaving the old hanger, a glint of
meteal caught his eye. He landed the space eagle and walked back.
The glint of metal was a pile of half-scrapped ships, all of which
would never fly again. Joe turned to go, and heard a loud beeping
noise. He moved some scrap to investigate. There was some kind of
console, covered in dust, with a faded display of an hourglass. The
hourglass went and left a message-MAIN BATTERY LEAKING POWER. The
message flashed on and off a little. Curious, Joe examined its power
connectors. He realised they were still in fine working order! He
carefully removed the console and carried it back to a spare Blue
Midget. He connected the power up and the display said JMC TM-
PROTOTYPE MODEL V1.1. Joe didn't knnow what the TM stood for.
Suddenly a date flashed up-1066,HASTINGS,EARTH. 13:05. Strange
eletricity came from the the console and into the engine of the Blue
Midget. "Smeg!!!" He swore. He grabbed the stearing colum just as
the blue midget started to glow purple and vanished with a loud
crackle.
