"godsdammit" Jack cursed, as he changed the clip over on his rifle.
The small screen flickered, as the batteries began to run low.
"smegging welshmen..." he cursed again, zooming in on the battlefield
again. He saw Amber, Trisees, and the others hovering around a broken
Blue Midget, and scanned the area, they were almost in the middle of a
crossfire, and Jack hoped the batteries in his gun would last long
enough to see them off.
"Amber! get down!" he yelled over the nano's, but she can't have been
listening, or was too busy shouting at Trisees, as she didn't move.
"fine, be like that" he said, firing a shot that whizzed past Trisees
ear, in front of Amber, into the head of a welshman that had managed
to get through the frontlines.
"gotcha" he said softly, as the screen on his gun died. "DAMMIT!" he
shouted, searching through his pockets for a new pair of AA batteries.
"energizer..." he said, shuddering at the thought of the bunny, before
he through them in the weapon. It came back to life instantly, as he
zoomed back into the battlefield, searching for anyone worthy of a bullet.
