(no subject)

Who:- Jay, Kara, Efof, Marwood, Dean, Amber.
Where:- Shuttle Bay 3
When:- Just after we met the creature.
"OK GUYS!" Jay yelled, to the assembled group of pilots. "Time we tested out
our new toys...I'll be damned if I let Jack have the glory from saving our
asses."
"New toys?" Asked Kara shouting to be hear dover the vibrations from the
ships external cannons rocking the outer hull.
"Pete care to show the lady?"
Peter, who had joined the other pilots when Jay called them all to the bay
entered the code to open the hangar bay, the doors hissed open revealing a
shiny new fleet of Space Eagles.
"The corp have put my desing for the Mark II into mass production" Jay
explained "So, I bought some...DEAN that means no crashing..."
"Hrmph" muttered Dean "I'd rather fly the Raven anyway...." he turned and
started walking toward the bay where the Raven was parked.
"Dean you smeg-wit!" Jay said after him "We need speed and
manouverability...the Raven's tought but to be honest you may as well fly a
house for all the good it'll do against that thing!"
Dean knew Jay was right, and joined the other pilots in getting strapped in
to one of the 'Eagle cockpits. Jay follwed and did the same in the lead
fighter.
"Where the hell is Amber?" Jay asked, looking over at the empty cockpit of
Eagle 3.
"Here!" Ambers voice called, dashing onto the deck, "Sir, permission to
pilot this?"
She showed Jay an image on her porta-navicom, it was a camera feed from Bay
42 showing a sleek looking vessel.
"Is that?"
Jay asked "Yup" Amber replied, knowing Jay recognised the ship from his time
with the Hymenoptera, Jay also knew what it was capable of.
"Hell yes Keats..." he replied "Meet us outside!"
Amber dashed off, praising Jay for letting her test out the new craft.
"OK guys! LETS SHOW JACK WHERE IT'S REALLY AT!!!"
The Eagle's thundered out of the shuttle bay.
