Who: Evil jay Chrysler
Where: The Hymenoptera fleet
When: 2 hours after the Blue Dwarf time-jumped
Evil jay watched as the Hymenoptera fleet came together and slowly
advanced towards the coordinates of Earth.
With so many ships behind him, he felt powerful, unstoppable. He knew
that nothing the Space Corps or humans had could stop a fleet as big
or powerful as this. His ships were far larger than anything the
humans had, and had far superior weaponry. And most importantly, they
were all far far better organised because their thoughts were all as one.
He now understood how ants and termites built such well organised and
impressive hives, they worked together as one. But at the same time
felt far superior to anything insect, or anything human combined.
Something caught his attention though. One of his ships had detected a
small heat source on the edge of their viewing range. Jay immediately
knew about it, as he was linked to all the ships, to all the Hymenoptera.
But this was the absolute manor of distractions. Nothing could stop
him now. But it always paid to be cautious. He sent one ship alone to
investigate. He could have sent a small scout, but with enough massive
cruisers to spare he sent one of his fastest battleships.
It was a scorpion, one of the Hymenoptera's sleekest battleships. Some
of the hive ships were slow and fat, with enough space to carry an
entire horde of soldiers, enough to invade and entire planet, with
some left over. But this one was a menacing melee ship, bred
especially for space combat. It had two huge claws, meant to clamp
onto a ship while the stinger tail smashed it to pieces.
If the Space Corps were planning any kind of surprise attack, this
armoured beast would be more than enough to stop them.
He controlled it with his mind and watched through a window in his
mother ship as it split off from the millions of other ships.

Where: Blue Dwarf
When: Same time

"Ok, Phil, i have an idea to save Earth..." Jack said, hoping it would
make phil a little more at ease when it came to damage to the
ramscoops at that little ramming excercise. Arriving at Phil's office
a few minutes later, Jack sat in front of him, and smiled.
"We need to steal a hymenoptera ship, a big one..." he began, watching
the look on Phil's face change from one of intrigue, to one of utter
disbelief "and ram it into Evil Jay's bug mothership. We'll be able
to save the world."

"Sounds a bit risky" said Phil.
"Yes, yes it does. It also sounds extremely fun and exciting!" Grinned
Jack.
Phil looked at him with a displeased face.
"Oh I mean… it'll be worthwhile and productive." Jack backpeddled.
Phil thought for a while. Being the captain was still fairly new to
him, and there was a lot of hard decisions to be made. Like this one,
it was crazy. And he knew Jack was mostly crazy. So should he let him
lead a mission that could potentially kill the entire team? He started
thinking back to the previous captain he'd known and what they'd say
in this suggestion. What would Seymour do?"
Phil shuddered.
"So do you think it's a good idea?" asked Jack.
Phil sighed. "You've got 10mins to choose your team and come up with a
good plan. One that will WORK! Meet me in the meeting room, I'm going
to call a dept head meeting."
