said looking around.
The girls silently shook their heads, Guinevere was personally starting
to become impatient. <end snip>
A few minutes later, Jessie finally spoke, surprising everyone.
"What does Kara look like?" "Um... reddish hair, a bit
taller than you, wears a black jacket..." replied Callum.
"Why?"
Jessie nodded, then said "She ran past me in the corridor on the way
here. she looked upset, like she'd just died or something. Somehow I
don't think she'll be joining us." Jessie paused for a moment, then
rounded on Callum. "Did you just call me short?" she said, in a
low, dangerous tone.
