Animal Mimicry: Helena can manifest physical attributes like that of a jungle cat. When ready to enter battle, the pupils of her eyes narrow into vertical ellipses like a feline. Occasionally, the sound of a cougar's roar also accompanies her actions. Whether Helena produces this sound herself, or whether it is another reflection of her powers remains unknown. Her animalistic metahuman qualities also bestowed upon her certain physical enhancements. She is several times stronger than one would expect from a woman her size, and she can leap vast distances with minimal effort. Helena can dive from the window of a skyscraper and land on her feet without suffering injury from the impact.

Superhuman senses: Helena's senses are much more highly fine-tuned than the average human, with her eyes becoming cat-like whenever they are peaked. Helena has shown herself to have extraordinary night vision. She can sense danger when it's nearby.[5]

Superhuman Reflexes: Helena Kyle's reflexes allow her to move faster than a normal person to avoid bullets or dive out of the window of a skyscraper without injuring herself.

Superhuman agility: Helena can jump large distances, both up buildings and off ledges. She is capable of dodging gunfire from point-blank range.

Superhuman durability: When she jumps from large ledges, Helena does not sustain any injury, indicating greater durability than the average human. She also managed to remain conscious for a few moments after being tasered by several thieves at once.

Superhuman strength: Helena can toss full grown men or pick them up off the ground by their throat, showing little effort in doing so. She can knock out cold men with a single punch. Out of anger, she can crack glass designed to hold prisoners like Clayface.

Accelerated healing factor: While she can injure herself, Helena has shown to be able to heal much quicker than typical, being completely fine within a few hours.

Brief Bio

Helena is the product of an affair between Bruce Wayne and Selena Kyle. Helena was born around the same time as the daughter of Maria and Franco Bertinelli. Somehow the girls got switched. Maria Bertinelli’s daughter was the product of an affair with Santo Cassamento. For the first eight years of her life, Helena knew nothing of the crimes her father was a part of. On her eighth birthday, Stefano Mandragora ordered the assassination of the Bertinellis. Santo modified the order given to the assassin to kill everyone but the sister. The assassin mistook the order to spare the sister to mean Helena, not Maria.

Helena went to live with her Uncle Tomasso's nephew, Salvatore Asaro. She was forced to move to the old country, Sicily. She was haunted for years by the nightmares of witnessing her parents and brother being murdered. Survivor’s guilt plagued her for just as long. Eventually, Salvatore showed her that only she could stop the nightmare by putting an end to those who murdered her family: blood cries for blood. She began training with the crossbow. She trained until the age of fifteen when she was sent to a boarding school in Switzerland to protect her from the Italian authorities who were cracking down on the Mafia.

While in Switzerland, she learned the truth about her family: they were a force of corruption and evil. At age sixteen, she finally returned to Gotham City to spend Christmas with her uncle. However, she hated everyone there. During the party, Helena witnessed her family finally was frightened of something. Batman had crashed the party and fought with them. Inspired by Batman's methods, Helena decided to fight her enemies by following his example.

Helena returned to Switzerland for school where she plotted her vengeance. She went to her old house in Sicily (which had since been abandoned because of her uncle and cousin being arrested) and took a crossbow and many items for her crusade. Enrolling at the university in Palermo, she learned all about the Mafia. She constructed her costume and many weapons. She thought of herself as a nun, totally devoted to her quest. She returned to Gotham in pursuit of vengeance as the Huntress.
