Plans For Later

Agent Powers gave Alyssa a smolder and then pondered a bit. After a brief list of ideas he replied, "Sounds like you made a plan already, but it is weird that our missing girl is not really lost and works at a real haunted house. Will we need to bring in an exorcist?”

"My plan for right now, is a lot of time on the computer, researching everything. I don't think we should go into the theater until the others arrive." Alyssa explained. "If we're all staying at the same hotel it should be easy enough to get together to discuss things.”

Agent Powers nodded. This meant more down time for him while Alyssa did the brainy work. He replied, "Then I'll get you snacks and meals as needed. Let me know if we need to order anything even if its not normal.”

"Carbs and caffeine." Alyssa smiled slightly at Max. "You know what I eat so just what ever is fine." Junk food, that's what she normally ate. However, if Max cooked healthier options she did eat those as well, the man could make even healthy food taste good. Of course, he wouldn't be cooking while they were here.

Choi’s phone received a notification, a text from Eun-Ji. It read, I apologize for the late reply, I have been busy. Did you need me for something?

----

Eun-Ji put her phone away and went back to work taking photos and measurements of the facade of the supposedly haunted theater from across the street. She had a laptop opened up on a nearby park bench running a CAD software program that took the photogrammetry images and was reconstructing a three dimensional scaled version of the exterior.

This added to the information she had already retrieved from the city’s planning and zoning department. Using the architectural blueprints, she had already created an interior three dimensional digital model made; without corresponding pictures of her own yet. Also on the desktop of the laptop was a folder where she had placed historical information, pictures, news articles, documented testimonials etc. about the old theater.

---

Choi felt the vibration of his phone as he finished the cookie. He grimaced as he took another sip of the chai and read the text.

He texted Eun-Ji back: Welcome to the land of the living, if you can call Gary that. The theater is haunted. Our victim is in hospital. Not sure which if there is more than one.

Choi smiled at the information Alyssa and Marina had received. “What next? Should we await the others?”

He Googled hospitals in Gary. “There is a Methodist Hospital in Gary.”

Marina had come into the coffee shop again with Alyssa. "We should wait for the rest to make it here, then divide our group. One half goes to check on Sarah and another checks the theater.”

"In that case, I should head back to the hotel. We can reconvene when the others get here." Alyssa then added. "Maybe, except Peter as I don't know how long he'll be.”

Agent Powers packed his bag and stood up and gave the people in the room a smolder before looking back at Alyssa and asked, "So were heading out?”
----

Eun-Ji brought her camera and tripod over to the laptop and plugged it in. She uploaded the facade images into AutoCAD and waited for the completion bar percentage to finish. While she waited, she took a seat on the bench and checked her phone again in case there had been any replies from Choi.

She smirked as she read his text message. Everything he said was information she had read in the operation file before even leaving Korea. It was unhelpful, but Choi was one to over communicate. She didn’t see anything pressing or a call to action in his words either, so she simply texted back,

Thank you.

The files had finished uploading. Next she opened them up into the software and began manipulating them with what she had already modeled and rendered.

----

Alyssa responded to Max, "Yup," She hadn't carried much in but grabbed it and stood up, then turned to Marina and Yeong. "If I hear from the others I'll text you. Please let me know of you hear that they've arrived." With that she left with Max.
