Against His Will

Police Station - Sheridan, Wyoming

In a dimly lit interrogation room, the two EAST agents stood silently for a moment, sizing up their young captive. The surveillance camera in the corner of the room was swiftly disabled by one of the agents. They approached Finlay, and with a calculated efficiency, they forcibly cuffed him to the interrogation table.

Without introducing themselves, the agents wasted no time in launching their interrogation. They knew he was a mutant, and their objective was clear: extract information about Lydia and her connection to the secret society established by the dream walker Cynthia. Their tactics began with intimidation, trying to make Finlay share what he knew. Their faces bore no warmth, only the cold determination of agents on a mission.

Finlay, though frightened, did his best to hold his ground. He denied being a mutant, hoping to protect Lydia and himself from further harm. But the agents were relentless. They pressed on, threatening and willing to use cruel methods to get the answers they sought.

When their verbal tactics proved fruitless, one of the agents gave a nod, prompting the telepath in the wheelchair to activate Finlay's abilities against his will. Finlay felt a forceful push, like a rolling wave he couldn't resist. Before their eyes, his form shifted, transforming him into the likeness of Lydia.

The agents' grins widened, their cruel satisfaction evident. Shapeshifters were rare, and capturing one would be a considerable achievement for EAST. They began the interrogation again, speaking venomously at the young girl before them, their disdain for mutants apparent in every word and gesture. They were determined to extract every bit of information they could, no matter the cost.
