The nurse returned shortly to the room Lydia was in and reported that Finlay was asleep at the moment. She was able to look at his chart as well as talk to one of the other nurses that had been attending to the teenager. Apparently the boy was keeping them on their toes, because while he was in REM sleep he was shifting between different forms, which meant having to hook everything back up with each change. It wasn’t anything to worry about. His body was enjoying the fact that it was coming into its own, she explained. Like it finally realized it’s potential.

She relayed this information to Lydia, that basically he was doing fine and recovering well; they had consistent fluids and nutrients feeding into him to keep up with the physical demands. She had informed the staff there to make sure he gets the letter when he wakes up and placed it on his bedside platform made of stone.
