Riley found Lyle amongst the bodies cradling Juliet's and Kent's. It was obvious that the soldier had been too late but he had also made sure that those responsible had suffered their deaths were not quick.

Lyle had been emotionless in the following days. Only shutting a tear as Juliet's body was set ablaze on the funeral pyre. After the last of her ashes are scattered to the winds he moved to the dock just staring at the lake for hours until Riley approached him.

"We're going to be leaving the village it's no longer safe here"Riley spoke as he too stared off at the lake.

"Remember to be careful and good luck finding Susi" Lyle replied.

"What will you do now?" The speedster asked.

"Before I finished off those men They let me in on who sold us out conveniently They only bodies we didn't find besides Susi who was captured" Lyle responded handing a list of names to Riley, They were former residents and friends of the village.

"You sure you can handle them on your own?" Riley asked looking at the names in disgust.

"When I was in the military my squad got ambushed by a high level meta I was the only survivor but I made sure to kill the bastard" Lyle replied lighting a cigarette "afterwards I was transferred to a secretive antimeta task force. I stacked so many bodies they called me Charon. They're not going to be much of a threat and I'm going to make sure they suffer."

Letting out a puff of smoke Lyle patted Riley on the shoulder before walking to his bike and leaving. If he was going on this path of revenge it was time to return home.
