JP - Take a Number

They all splashed into the pool water.

Riley quickly pulled Anastasia to the surface, making sure she was alright.

Anastasia coughed and clung to Riley. “Where?!”

Esther surfaced and frowned. “Sorry…I’m not always positive about where I’ll appear when I return.”

Elizabeth quickly helped Min and noticed a wolf woman staring at them. “Uh…hi?”

“Hi,” Susi said, watching as Cook surfaced and swam to the edge to climb out. “You guys could have just come in through the door and changed into swimsuits, you know…”

Min was disoriented, but she swam to the edge of the pool. Then froze when she saw a man who looked so much like the monster who had tortured her, wearing orange swim trunks and had red hair.

Esther got out of the pool and looked at Sorley. “It’s been a long time, Sorley.” She told him and gave him a smile that never reached her eyes.

Elizabeth was next to Min, helping her. “What’s wrong?” She asked.

“He looks like the monster who…” Min nodded towards Sorley.

“Hello.” Sorley said, still a little surprised by so many people suddenly appearing in the pool. He offered Esther his towel.

Esther took the towel. “Thank you, Sorley.” She said and started to dry off. “I’m sorry we just dropped in like this. I’m never sure where I’ll appear when I come back. I mean, I have a general idea, but never the exact spot…”

“Yeah, but his hair is all wrong.” Elizabeth said and looked at Riley and Anastasia. “You know him, speedy?”

"Sorley he's a good guy" Riley explained moving to the pool steps.

"You alright Riley" Alex asked moving to help him and Anastasia.

"Not really" Riley said in a tired tone "where's River?"

Min treaded water, looking wary.

“It’s okay…” Sorley trailed off, recognizing that look from the Asian woman. He took a step back from the pool. He wondered if there would ever be a time when his face did not scare someone. “I can use my powers to help your friends out…”

“Okay,” Elizabeth said as she got out with Min and kept an eye on Sorley. “He ain’t acting like a rapist sicko.”

Susi smiled at Sorley. “You’re still as sweet as ever!” She giggled and blinked at Riley’s question. “Uhm…last I heard she was taking a walking forest to destroy a MegaCorp facility?” She shrugged. “A few members went with her, trying to convince her not to do it, but…you know how River is.”

"God I love that woman" Riley sighed before using his speed to pull Susi and Esther into a hug with him and Anastasia. "Five years I've waited for this moment to see you both again" he whispered tears falling down his face.

Sorley blushed awkwardly.

“No… I don’t think the monster could blush.” Min said, though she still felt uncomfortable.

Esther grimaced in the hug and looked at Alex for help. Susi laughed happily and hugged them back.

Elizabeth looked at Sorley. “Yeah, I doubt he could. Who are you, dude?” She asked as Cook stepped up next to them and made sure Min was okay.

Alex shrugged and joined in on the hug. "He's your dad you know how he gets before letting go and texting River about Riley being back.

Riley finally let them go "sorry I've just been waiting a long time for this."

“I’m Sorley Millward.” Sorley said. “I know who I look like… He’s my biological father but I never had anything to do with him, or rather it was a clone of my father who… hurt you.”

Min was nervous, and disoriented from the dimension traveling, but okay.

“I want to rip your dad’s dick off and feed it to him.” Elizabeth told Sorley. “I hope that’s okay with you!”

Esther, Cook, Susi and anyone else in the room just stared at Elizabeth.

"Take a number" Alex said while Riley just clenched his fist until it bled.

Sorley nodded and took a step back from Elizabeth. “He was a terrible person, and it looks like his clone is too.”

Elizabeth looked at Alex. “What’s that supposed to mean, four eyes?”

Nero just stood in the water, watching them all.

"There's not a person in the room that doesn't have a score to settle with him" Alex replied.

That was when Susi finally noticed Nero. “WHAT THE FUCK IS HE DOING HERE?!” She screamed, all senses on high alert now. “You almost killed me so many times in that fucking facility!” She jumped on top of Nero, beating at his head as he just kept standing there…taking it.
