“Stay here! Non-combatants are staying here at the base while we go to help The Cabin!” He yelled and left.
Ryan moved over to her "you alright?"
Megan nodded, but there was worry on her face. “I hope they’ll be okay…”
Ryan pulled her into a hug "it'll be alright."
“I hope so.” She replied and hugged him back. “Want to visit Colt when we’re done? I’m sure he’d appreciate the company.”
Ryan kissed her cheek trying not to think how close her body was pressed up against his. "Of course he seems like a nice guy and he's going to have to get used to me if I'm going to be his brother-in-law one day."
Megan blushed again. “Y-yeah…I just…I’m worried with how his injuries are.”
Ryan nodded and smiled before pulling her along to swim with him. He hadn’t had this much fun since he and Juno were kids in Megacorp. After a little bit he moved to the steps grabbing a towel to dry off and offering Megan one. “I forgot how fun it was to swim.”
Megan had enjoyed swimming, giggling whenever she’d get to float around in the deep ends. “Did you?” She asked as she took a towel. “I’ve always been a bit of a swimming addict compared to most cat girls.”
Ryan nodded “Been locked up for so long I hadn’t swam since me and Juno were kids” he explained drying off “still I’m with a one of a kind cat girl that loves to swim.”
Megan’s face was a flush of pink as she dried off and giggled sheepishly. “T-thanks…” She mewed. “You’re a…one of a kind guy. Never met someone so stubborn as to survive hell so long.” By hell, she meant MegaCorp. Even her brother’s survival there was a shock to her.
"I wasn't going to let them break me" he replied smiling " I promised myself I would escape and find something to live for." Looking over to her he winked "I'm glad I did too otherwise I wouldn't have met you."
Megan’s face turned a darker shade and she fainted.
Ryan panicked and grabbed her in his arms. "Megan are you ok?" He asked making sure she didn't hurt herself. Picking her up he carried her to his room and laid her down on his bed and covered her with a blanket.
