JP - Thrane needs to be eaten alive by Rats
"I think she can handle it…" Gregor chuckled.
Whiskers frantically scratched and yowled, shaking the cat carrier.
Sorley fussed over Gelf. “Did he get you? Are you okay?”
Gelf shrugged. “I’m fine,” She said and made sure Whiskers couldn’t get out. “Jeez, he’s truly obsessed with Evie, huh?”
Sorley gently rolled up Gelf’s sleeves, not satisfied until he could see for himself that the cat had not managed to bite or scratch her. He blushed slightly and fixed Gelf’s sleeves. “Yeah. Hopefully he’ll start behaving again soon.”
Gregor looked at Kiana. “I can explain things in detail later if you like.”
“Yeah- I’m going to need my damned collar soon.” Kiana groaned.
<EVIE! DELIVER ME!> Whiskers screamed.
Gelf heard Kiana and dug out an extra collar she always kept handy just for these moments. “Here you go.”
“Thanks Gelf. Oh Gelf, show Gregor the ring!” Kiana was more proud of the ring than her brother or Gelf.
Sorley blushed.
Gregor blinked, accepting the pain killers a doctor gave him. “Shouldn’t you be happier about them being engaged, Kiana?” He inquired as Gelf showed him the ring. “Besides, aren’t you worried about Evie?”
“I’m still worried about Evie, but until i can go in to see her, making Gelf and Sorley blush is a nice distraction from whatever those sick fuckers did to Evie again.” Kiana said.
Gregor nodded and looked over at where Herbert was. “Seems they have him stabilized…”
Kiana looked sadly at Herbert. “He was still getting used to having hands and that fucker took his arm.”
“Thrane is a terror…” Gregor muttered, looking at his wrapped up leg. “Herbert will have all of us around to help him, at least. You know how Gelf can be when it comes to taking care of people. She’s like a mother hen…”
"Yeah." Kiana said. "I wonder if he was better off as a pig."
Whiskers yowled, making the most tragic sound.
“If he was still a pig, Thrane would have cooked him alive,” Gregor said. “I know how that sick man works…”
“I don't know if he would have been noticed by that bastard if he was a pig.” Kiana said.
"You'd be surprised…" Gregor murmured as he thought about all those poor cats.
“I hope we can see Evie soon… Did you notice how she was, what that fucker did to her?” Kiana asked Gregor.
Gregor could only nod and looked down at the floor in shame. “If I’d known sooner, I would have done something about it…” He admitted.
“Do you know how bad it is?” Kiana asked. “Will she be able to come home soon or will she need to spend time here?”
Gregor shook his head. “I don’t know…that’s something you’ll need to speak with Leimomi and Frisk about, sadly.”
“They’re still with her… I think that’s a bad sign.” Kiana noted.
“From what I glimpsed of her, it looked as if she was tortured all over her body…” Gregor told Kiana, a shame filled look in his eyes. “I wish I had realized who exactly took her five years ago…maybe she wouldn’t…” His gaze fell to the floor, going silent.
“I want to kill him.” Kiana said. “Evie’s so innocent, she didn’t deserve any of that. I want to kill him.”
Gregor shook his head. “Thrane is not easy to kill, Kiana…his power is…frightening, even to me…” He explained and shook slightly. Every time he had to face that monster it brought back the memories of his own childhood…of being one of Thrane’s first experiments.
“He needs to get eaten alive by rats.” Kiana said, frustrated that someone who was so cruel and evil was so powerful.
“I know… Isn’t he related to Klaire? Has anyone told her what he has done now?” Kiana asked. She could hear Whiskers yowling even if she could not understand him telepathically because she was wearing her collar. Poor cat wanted his Goddess.
“No, he’s not related to her as far as I’m aware. Man looks very human…” Gregor shrugged.
“Yeah… I hope I can make it come true.” Kiana sighed.
“We can only hope…but Thrane is very powerful, Kiana.” Gregor explained and sighed heavily. “He makes us look like children running around in circles…”
Kiana thought she had heard something about Klaire being related to him during her last visit to meta village. But there had been so much confusion in those days. "Oh."
Gregor shrugged.
“I wish I could see Evie for myself.” Kiana said anxiously.
“I wish we could, too, but she probably requires time to calm down, Kiana.” Gregor explained and adjusted himself on the medical bed. “I should get out of this bed so they can assist other patients.”
“Are you well enough to get up?” Kiana asked.
“Probably not, but if I can get into a chair, I think I’ll be fine, Kiana.” Gregor replied and moved his legs so he could attempt to get off the bed.
“Do you need help?” Kiana asked Gregor, not sure if she was strong enough to be of much help.
Gregor shook his head. “Thank you for the offer, though. I fear at my tall height, I might weigh too much.” He replied and limped his way to a chair, sitting down slowly.
Kiana walked with Gregor to his chair. It sounded like someone had put Whiskers in a room, but she could still hear his muffled yowls.
“Is Whiskers going to be…okay?” Gregor asked.
“He needs Evie.” Kiana said, switching off her collar and the heartbroken cat was still calling for his Goddess to save him.
“I know, but Evie is not well…perhaps you can ask Frisk and Leimomi if it’s okay for him to be in there with her?” Gregor suggested.
“I can try, but neither of them have left her side.” Kiana said fretfully.
“Go knock on the door and see if they will let you and Whiskers visit her.” Gregor suggested. “She’s basically family to you, Gelf, and Sorley…plus, they’re still working on Herbert and I don’t think they’ll be done any time soon.”
“Okay…” Kiana said. She walked over to Evie’s door and gently knocked on it.
