Riley entered the rundown bar in the middle of no where. Eyes scanning the room they settled on a familiar figure. With The long hair and scraggly beard He almost didn't recognize him if not for the eye patch.

Taking a seat next to him Riley ordered a drink I just sat there with him for a while before speaking.

"Heard you got the last of them."

Lyle nodded finishing off the rest of his beer "shove a grenade up their ass" he replied ordering another beer.

Riley nodded in approvement He had no sympathy for those that betrayed them at the village was glad that They got what was coming to them. "So what will you do now?"

Lyle looked down at his beer for a moment before speaking "try to find some happiness at the end of this bottle and when I don't I'm going to order another then once I'm tired of that try to find a way to kill myself where the universe won't stop me."

"What do you mean by that?" Riley asked.

"Don't know if it's Juliet herself watching over me or just bad luck on my part but every attempt's been a failure" Lyle explained "guns jam, grenades don't explode and every other divine intention you can think of." Emptying another beer he sighed "so what do you want because I doubt you came here to catch up."

"I need you to infiltrate Megacorp to locate susi" the speedster answered.

"I'll do it on one condition" Lyle sighed " you kill me afterwards I doubt the universe is faster that you."

Riley found himself lost for words at the request "Lyle that's..."

"Riley I'm tired" Lyle replied looking down at his drink "everyday I wake up alone and reminded that the women I love is gone and I'll never get to see her or hold her in my arms one last time. Please Riley you're the only one I could ask this."

Riley sighed before finishing his drink he knew Lyle needed help but he right now Alex needed Susi "I'll do it."

Lyle looked over to Riley and nodded "then let's get to work."
