JP - Tzeitel is being a total Child
“Shit.” Frisk had been depending on Tzeitel’s friends to keep her from hurting herself, she had not counted on Tzeitel pushing her friends away. But Frisk realized that she should have anticipated Tzeitel being this self-destructive. “Klaire, c-”
“If you want to talk to Klaire you can just call her.” Tzeitel irritably interrupted and pressed the end call icon.
“Seriously, Tzeitel?!” Klaire snapped. “This is the kind of behavior I’m talking about! You used to not do this! What changed, huh?!”
Tzeitel flinched, then scowled. “I already killed that fucker, this bullshit should be behind me for good.” Klaire’s phone started ringing with a call from Frisk. “Since I have your fucking permission I guess I’ll go out and hurt myself while you chat with Frisk.”
“You’re being a total child, Tzeitel!” Klaire growled at her this time and answered her phone. “Yes?” Her voice was calmer, but there was still that hurt because she knew there seemed to be no helping Tzeitel lately.
“I’m sorry, Klaire.” Frisk sighed. “What is she doing now?”
Tzeitel muttered something Klaire could hear as she walked out of the room.
“Leaving my room…” Klaire went to the door and closed it a little too roughly. The children shifted, but thankfully stayed asleep as their mother finally let the tears fall. She felt like she was losing her best friend.
“Shit.” Frisk groaned. “I’m sorry she’s being so difficult lately. She’s in a bad place but it’s no excuse to treat you like this. I had given Cody some sedatives and a few tranquilizers loaded in syringes, do you think she needs one?”
“I don’t know…” Klaire admitted with a sigh when James walked in, a look of concern on his face.
“What has she been doing?” Frisk asked.
“Drinking whenever she can, snapping at everyone and being extra harsh to James lately. Even when he gives her some kind advice, she gets mean now. Plus, she’s always working herself to death and trying to drink any alcohol she can get her hands on. Cody and Ami do their best to steal the alcohol and pour it out, but they can’t keep up with her twenty-four seven, Frisk.” Klaire rambled. “What’s worse, is she doesn’t even notice that Colt obviously has a thing for her again and is deluding herself into thinking he only sees her as a sibling. I think he’s the only one she hasn’t flipped out on, but when she finally finds out, I worry…”
“Colt did a good job at convincing her that he had gotten over his feelings for her when he chose Feng… of course, it was what Tzeitel wanted to be true. Hopefully she doesn’t find out until her mind is in a better place, she did not know how to handle Colt having feelings for her on a good day.” Frisk said. “The drinking really worries me. She needs to be brought to the Underground where Leimomi can observe her more closely.”
"I can try to get her there but it'll be…difficult." Klaire admitted as she let James watch over Leon and Lotus.
“Thank you, Klaire. I can see that she is being really difficult. Oh-” The announcement paging Frisk to the med ward could be heard in the background of the phonecall. “I have to go. I’ll try to call you back when I get the chance.”
“Take care, Frisk. I’ll text you if I can get anything done with Tzeitel.” Klaire answered.
“Bye.” Frisk said and hung up.
