JP - Punch first, then Hug

Ryan woke to the smell of breakfast. Opening his eyes he saw a tray in front of him piled high with a bunch of food. Looking to his left he saw her.

"Juno…" he whispered in a tired voice.

"Hey" she replied in a shy voice "I thought you might be hungry."

Ryan nodded and grabbed his utensils before eating he looked back over to her "I'm sorry for the rig."

Juno looked away and fidgeted with her hands "I was mad at you for so long we were supposed to leave together I know you were injured but at the time I would have rather stayed than leave without you. Luckily the underground found me washed up on the shore and took me in. I've been talking to a therapist and that I understand why you did it and I forgive you."

Ryan teared up and pulled her into a hug. Happy to have his friend back.

Juno pulled before smirking "so tell me about this smitten kitten I saw with you last night."

Once they're done eating Juno Helped Ryan into a wheelchair so he could check on Bumble and the others.

Megan was back from her small visit with her cousins the night before and was helping Bumble set up comfortable hives for her bees. That large one that the bee woman always held lifted its head and looked right at Ryan, making a happy buzzing noise.

“I see you’re fitting in right at home Bumble” Ryan said before looking over to Megan and blushing before waving.

"Hello friend Ryan. I am doing my best. The bees are very happy we are free." Bumble answered as she turned to face Ryan. "Are you doing better?"

Megan looked at Ryan and waved with a smile.

"I'm allowed to move around now. They just don't want me overdoing it" Ryan replied gesturing to the wheelchair before turning to Megan "I'm glad to see you again so soon."

“Someone’s gotta help keep up with things here so the medics can do their jobs.” Megan said with a wink as she adjusted a few things for Bumble. “There we go. This way the bees can make all the honey they want.”

“Thank you, Miss Megan.” Bumble said softly and walked over to Ryan and gently set the giant bee in his lap. It wiggled a bit nuzzled into him. “Breezy was worried about you, Friend Ryan. He was scared you were going to die…”

Breezy buzzed in agreement and nuzzled Ryan’s chest again. Ryan would know that Breezy is a very special bee because he is Bumble’s biological child. He came out with no stinger and his wings are still very weak, so he only either walks or is constantly held in his mother’s arms.

Ryan gently petted Breezy "it's ok Breezy I'm stubborn to die" he chuckled.

"That's an understatement," Juno teased.

Breezy made a buzz that sounded almost like a snort, but kept his little head against Ryan’s chest, almost like he was making sure the speedster’s heart was still beating. All Bumble could do was smile at her little one, proud that he was still such a sweet individual.

Megan walked over and gently pet Breezy. “He’s such a good boy and he worries because he cares. Have you been eating your meals, by the way?” She asked, staring at Ryan.

Ryan nodded as he continued to hold Breezy "I guess it's a good thing that my brother's been working with the underground so much. They know how to make meals specifically catered to speedsters."

"The only reason he's in the chair is my insistence" Juno admitted "I just wanted to have a couple more days build up his reserves."

“I say make him stay in the wheelchair for a full week, at least.” Megan chided toward the speedster, crossing her arms. “I may not be a full medic, but I know how to take care of people.”

“Miss Megan has been very helpful around here, I have noticed.” Bumble explained and picked up Breezy when he got a bit fidgety. “Shhh…It is all right. No one is going to take us back to that place.”

Ryan looked away blushing "I've been behaving miss Megan."

Juno watched with a smirk "maybe I should have her keep an eye on you 24/7" she teased.

“Just call me Megan, silly.” The cat-woman giggled, but her cheeks flushed at Juno’s words.

Bumble and Breezy gave Juno a raised eyebrow, knowing exactly what she was up to.

Juno gave Bumble a wink before moving over to her "or should I leave him with you" she whispered in a teasing tone.

Ryan smiled "sorry, I'll make sure just to call you Megan then."

Megan couldn’t stop the cute giggle that escaped her.

Bumble stared at Juno in confusion. “My bees will keep him safe enough, but I do not require a companion at the moment.”

Juno giggled " my mistake I was thinking this queen bee was seeking a king" she teased.

Ryan blushed "I was thinking of getting a snack did you want to join me Megan?"

Bumble smiled a little sadly. "Not many men want to be around a bee woman, Miss Juno." She said with a soft sigh. "The only reason men were with me back at the facility was because MegaCorp made them."

Megan smiled at Ryan. "I'd love to," she said before looking at Bumble with sadness.

Ryan rolled over to bumble and pulled her into a hug "none of that nonsense bumble just as Juno and Megan's meta traits make them beautiful so does yours."

Bumble hugged Ryan back awkwardly due to holding Breezy, but nodded. “Thank you, Friend Ryan. You always know how to cheer us all up.” She said with a soft smile.
