ER pt 1

The medics rushed Rainey to a operating room with Marley close in toe but they stopped her at the double doors and told her she would have to wait here in he lobby. It was only then she felt Sam's arms around her. Only then did she burry her face in his chest and let the tears flow small sobs rocking her shoulders. She looked up at him. He had blood all on his shirt and hands she realized she still had it all over her as well the tips of her blond hair red with it. " we are bloody." It was all she could really say. Her brain wasn't working right. Replaying everything over and over. She leaned heavily on sam feeling to heavy with the weight of this.

Kate and her mother climbed out of the truck. She saw Embery and walked to him. " my sister? Did you see where they took her? Is there any news on her? Your men? How many? Thank you. I'm so sorry.." she was rambling she walked with him into the ER and they were all directed to a lobby where they found sam and Marley in chairs sam holding her close and Marley resting her head on his chest eyes staring blankly at the floor. There was a moment of tears and hugs and updates but really no one knew much. A nurse came to let them know they were taking both into surgery Alex would be fine having taken a bullet to the arm and shoulder but Rainey was in critical condition she had taken a bullet that had clipped her right lung and ruptured her right kidney. They were doing everything they could but it could be a while. Kate held her mother looking to Embery with a desperate look. Amelia clung t Kate. She had always been the rock. She thought about losing her baby what that would mean. She had to sit down. Marley sank bak down in the chair next to sam crossed hr arms over her chest almost holing her self. This couldn't be real life
