Breaking the ice

Raul had gotten dressed for the party in a simple pair of slacks and a long sleeve jacket covering his arms, his bandages fairly visible around his hands, before stepping out of his room. Once out of the room he ran into the group and got the invite to walk with them. He was more than happy to join them on the way to the party as they seemed friendly enough and he'd be lying if he didn't think the two sisters were gorgeous.

As they had walk to the party he filled them in with some small talk explaining where he was from and what he was studying at the school. As they arrived at the party he made sure to thank Amir for covering his drink saying that he would get them next time they all hung out.

The party itself was definitely fun and Raul even joined the group when they enter the dance floor while he tried to stay close he did give the sisters and Amir some space as the tension between the three of them was quite visible. Eventually he decided to get some air winding up at the fire pit before Nadira.
He use to not be able to stand being by open flames, often getting anxiety and flashbacks of the fire. However he had worked on that and now he just would get uncomfortable itches around his arms, maybe it was just the alcohol or the huge group of people but it definitely was more distracting than usual so much more that he didn't notice when Nadira sat next to him.
