04.10: Dead Girl

"As for being insulted one grows used to it after enough time. Not really sure how they found out I was like I am I never touched them directly always had thick gloves on. Maybe it was the smell. An armoire is a wardrobe or movable cabinet, typically one that is ornate or antique." She gave a literal dictionary definition. From my experience, the only antique ones left are ornate, I assume the plain antique ones were not taken care of."

Once upstairs she sat down on the kitchen counter. She leaned back on her hands and crossed her legs. "How am I doing? I am a freaking zombie." She felt that summed it up well enough. She then remembered the first ghost she met that didn't know what a zombie was. This guy didn't know what an armoire was, she thought that was strange. So she decided to explain more just in case. "I can't rent an apartment to rent or buy a house. Who would sell or rent to a talking zombie? Couldn't afford a place of my own because no one would hire a talking zombie. I have to find places to live in that are vacant or abandoned. They almost never have cable, electricity, sometimes running water. When they do I can't use them because the owner will figure out someone is illegally squatting. I haven't seen a movie, tv-show, or play in over a year. My only entertainment has been whatever books or magazines previous tenants left behind. They don't always leave that stuff behind. I read an accounting textbook one time because that was literally the only thing in that house I hadn't read. I read a little over half of it. The rest I couldn't read had um...red paint on it." Red paint was an obvious lie to anyone with ears she felt stupid for lying. But she didn't like admitting even to herself she read a book covered in someone's blood. "For over a year the only people I have talked to are ghosts, all have been dead longer than I was alive. My career had just taken off, I was going to be the star in a movie as the titular character then my boyfriend murdered me for no readily apparent reason. I had to use ghosts to trick him into digging me up because I couldn't do it myself so I could get my revenge. I have to watch out for authorities constantly so I can get out before they can get me. I am lonely and miserable. I have thought about biting someone to turn them into a zombie just for the company, but I couldn't inflict this unliving hell upon someone else."
