Emma was pleased to see her latest charge could be pragmatic.
“Well, for a start we should find you a place to live. Now in the last week you have seen some of the main house here and the infirmary. Every one of the young people who stays with us here has their own living space. So how about we take a walk over to the east wing of the house and let you choose a room.”
As they walked from the conservatory through the vast house Frost pointed out a few significant rooms, the infirmary she already knew, she was shown the refectory and the array of food available there, the admin office where Ayala could go to ask for advice.
