04.06: Dead Girl

"Reverb erand adequte local verb?" She tapped her index finger on her chin. "Is that more gibberish or some kind of magic." Then she saw the animals run back to their graves. "Well shit that didn't work."

She began looking for something to defend herself with if it came to that. There was a broken chair but it was broken because it was old and decrepit, not suitable for a weapon. The kitchen drawers were empty. She went to the basement. It was dark and creepy. She took out a flashlight. There was a bunch of junk. She was looking around for a few minutes when the batteries died. Jenny freaked out. It brought back memories of waking up in her own grave. She started to panic. She bumped into something that fell on her. It hurt like hell and it was too heavy for her to lift. She started to panic more that she was going to die in this basement alone and a freak. Anything was better than that. She needs to concentrate to phase through objects, but the pain made it impossible to concentrate. The last time she tried to phase without her full concentration her arm got stuck in an armoire. She had to chop up an antique armoire worth hundreds if not thousands. She felt bad about doing it. She was afraid of what part of her might get stuck in whatever this thing was and there was no ax to chop her way out of it.

She reached out to Ruby. "I don't care who that boy is. Get him to the basement of your house. I'm trapped!"
