04.04: Dead Girl

Jenny tried to stop Ruby the ghost from leaving without controlling her, she didn't like to do that. She made exceptions for malevolent spirits and other rare times.

She watched the ghosts and the newcomer. She couldn't hear them. One of the little girl ghosts looked in the direction of the house Jenny was in. Then the newcomer started coming towards her. She tried to read his lips but she wasn't any good at it. It looked like he said, "Ay bean o smarm Tony pear, believing bed." She was pretty sure not a single word of that gibberish was correct. She always meant to do learn to read lips before her life went to shit.

She reached out with her powers and connected with the recently deceased. There were quite a lot of pets that recently died. That had her concerned, from watching tv it meant a young child destined to be a serial killer lived in the neighborhood. She reanimated the dead pets to keep this person distracted. She commanded them to minimal damage if necessary, and only to seriously attack when she commanded it. She didn't want him to be seriously hurt if he wasn't malevolent or a fan of hers. If this attack of the living dead pets drove this newcomer off she planned to investigate the serial killer in the making.
