12: Ni-Bump-ght Part Two (Noah De Haan)

Noah knew that at some point they would have to evaluate Ayala’s combat skills, and now was as good a time as any. When he trained the students he insisted that they wear the protective gear that was provided in case they hurt one another. He never bothered with anything more than gloves, his own preference was for half-finger MMA fighting gloves. He wasn’t going to even try to explain safety gear to Ayala. He would go easy on her, this was evaluation not kicking the crap out of a newbie.
She was not going to be formally trained but Noah knew that made her unpredictable as an opponent, unlike trained combatants she was totally unknown.
It was going to be an interesting session. At his level of skill in unarmed combat training there were very few who could match him. So an unfamiliar opponent was a joy.
He passed Ayala a fresh set of training gear, he was relieved when DeeGee showed up in answer to his text. She could show Ayala which bits of clothing went where, he had not been looking forward to explaining the sports bra.
