17: Namor McKenzie

Watching Jack move with no pause from a seated position to land and then a dive was very educational to Namor. He had no idea a person could be so adept at handling themselves with no legs. He had only been exposed to a certain type of handicap and those fit into the image of wheelchair-bound kids in high school or the special-ed kids.

Namor dived a few seconds after Jack surfaced. He had taken off his shirt and shoes and laid out his cell and earbuds on the grass. He loved being underwater and he had only recently learned he could stay underwater longer than anyone should. Namor had the ability to extract air out of water.

Namor seemed to glide in the water as if he was flying leaving very little wake as he moved in the lake.

"This is amazing!" Namor said as he rose up beside Jack. Long wet hair draped on either side of his trapezius forming a black frame around his face.
