19: Shen Li (Shen Li Post)

"I think this might be the start of a beautiful friendship, we seem to have complimentary if not coinciding interests." Shen had to admit that he was looking forward to their being roommates. Min seemed easy going, and certainly cast an interesting light on his previous roomie without casting aspersions. It seemed that it was possible that he was living with someone weird before, or at least just not like Shen. He supposed it might make sense that if you wanted to pretend you lived alone and you had a roommate who was easily wrapped up in projects that could be the case that you'd avail yourself of that dedication somehow.

He decided not to dwell on it. "I am looking forward to learning what it is I can do, based on the stories, if I am a ghost, I can fly... well apparently swim so it might be neat." He hadn't actually talked with anyone about being a mutant before now. It had all happened so fast from Martin's death to coming to Xavier's. He wanted to ask Min about his mutant abilities, but while it was perfectly normal to ask someone back home about their financial standing -a direct way of establishing social order, mutant powers seemed much more personal.
