20: It's All in the Game - Ryusaku

Having done everything he needed to do he picked up his two game controllers off the charger unit. Given how long they would be playing for two controllers would be enough.
He was dressed casually, as casually Ryusaku ever got, he walked out of the dorm and into the Rec Room. He had heard the discussion as he approached so he knew who was already there. He knew that there was a high backed dining room like chair either side of the door so he took one and placed it adjacent to the middle sofa. This had the optimal position to the screen for Ryusaku, and it was far enough away from the others.
One of his controllers was placed next to the console as he had no need to touch the mechanism during play to use it.
There was a barrage of greetings and welcomes to which he responded politely. He was never comfortable in large groups but he had come to know these teenagers and that they meant him no harm. So he took their behaviour as benign until proven otherwise.
Like shortening his name.
“Ryu do you want a soda of some kind,” asked one of the twins.
He held up a thermal mug that he had brought with him. “Thank you I have sufficient chilled hydrolysed whey protein isolate shake here. Has a game been decided upon yet?” he asked.
