19: Shen Li

Shen seemed pleasant enough to Min. He certainly had a lot of stuff, his clothing was already away and most of the rest of the luggage held tech by the look of things.
“There’s no need to rush Shen,” Min told him.
The dorm rooms were a good size, so Shen could turn his desk if he needed too, and there were adequate power points for him to plug into as well. In addition to a couch the rooms could accommodate a couple of beds, and each person had a work/study area. Min had a pair of conventional desks, one for doing his academic work on, along with a standard office type chair on wheels. The second desk has boxes of lego stacked under it.
But even with all the stuff Shen had brought the room did not feel cramped, there was ample space.
Min had not heard of someone being a hat, old or otherwise but he let it pass as neither he nor Shen were American.
“I had a lot of bags and cases when I came here Shen, and rather than keep them here as I would not be needing them for a while, they put them into storage for me.”
Min offered to pass cables and parts when things were out of Shen’s immediate reach.
“As you are new here Shen I will be happy to act as your guide, it is normal for roommates do that here I am told. I can assist with you settling in and introduce you to different aspects of the school. If you wish for a different guide that can be arranged I am sure.”
