01.12: Allora

“I am driving,” Jack said, “get her to my car Jamie.”
Jamie had scooped the young woman up and was heading back to the road and where they were parked.
“My car’s nearer, and we can all get in there.”
“Oh please, you drive like an old lady. And we need to get her to the hospital ASAP.”
Jack regretted that his brand new Audi R8 was going to need the upholstery cleaned already.
Jamie made it to the car first even with his unconscious burden but Jack zapped the lock and whilst Jamie secured her he made it to the car.
He told the car to get directions to the nearest hospital as the car roared off, there was a screech of brakes and then the white Audi came speeding back in the other direction out of a really tight skidding U-turn.
The sight of a guy on artificial legs bellowing for help at the entrance to the ER seemed very effective to Jack.
By the time Jamie arrived Jack was filling out forms and talking with a police officer. Suddenly having someone with an accent out of Masterpiece Theatre in the mix kind of derailed the police officer, who had deep suspicions about Jack.
In the treatment cubicle Allora was conscious and was being tended to by a female doctor and nurses.
