14: War of the Worlds (Ethan POV)

The crowd of people began to push against them as they reacted to the Tri-Pod, Ethan felt his body crushed against the wooden legs of ax life guard tower. He climbed up the inside and reached the top. The top was empty and he looked down to see his teammates disappear into the chaos of the moving crowd.

Firestar had taken to the sky but he could not see anyone else. The tri-pod was getting closer and Ethan knew he had to do something. He called out to Firestar. He hoped she could hear him as the mass of people were shifting the tower from the shear force of their desperation. The tower as dangerously close to toppling over.

"Firestar get me out of here! I have an idea! Might be out best shot!," Ethan had the ability to amplify the wavelengths of photons and Firestar was a microwave generator. He could amplify her beams and enhance her output by adding more photons.
