On the way to the pool, she stopped by the kitchen and got a ziplock bag. She stuck her phone in it, an instant cheap waterproof case.

When she found a pool it had a few others there. She jumped in. She took a deep breath, started the stopwatch on her phone, and walked to the deep end. She wanted to test how long she could hold her breath. Once at the deep end she sat down and sat her phone face down beside her. To pass the time she began silently singing songs from her favorite band.
