14: War of the Worlds (Ethan POV)

Often forgetting that he was a walking encyclopedia of movie references he forgave Thomas for not recognizing the name Triffids. They were contemporaries of War of the World alien invaders. He took rear as instructed and laid down any cover fire on any threats that approached from the rear.

Ethan looked on to the far distance of the looming threat of the tall "Tripod," it seemed to be too far away to be an immediate threat but Ethan kept an eye on it just in case.

The team had two flyers and he had his extremely good eye sight to warn the team of most impending threats.

"We are clear of anything but keeping on eye on that Tripod!:" Ethan said cautiously.
