Jamie took a pause for toast and thick cut marmalade. He was so sick of people dressing up fairy stories and mythology and thinking it had any validity because they called it a religion. The Purifiers were religious so that pretty much devalued any associated belief system in his book.
"The vast majority of people float, we have two large in built floatation bags in our torsos. The only reason people get into difficulties in water is that they panic. The fact that you are talking is a pretty good indicator you are breathing isn't it?"
