"She learn my words. Help learn your words. Understand."
She looks over the offered sandwich curiously, then sniffed at it before taking a tentative bite. The flavor was as unusual and overwhelming as most of the foods she'd tried. but at least it wasn't as bitter as the drinks. May be she should try putting some of that powder in her 'tea' next time..... or maybe just drink the water.
She put the sandwich down and wiped her hands on her pants, then grabbed her spear, saying what it was to both of them in her own tongue. Followed by "What is this?"
