“Nathaniel Carver has vanished,” Bobby Drake told Jamie and Noah as they entered the briefing room.
‘And he is?’ Noah asked.
“The boy I did first contact with in Boston,” Jamie said.
“He was due to transfer here in a week or so,” Bobby said.
“Do we have anything?” Jamie asked.
“A frantic call from his parents in case he showed up here early because he was eager to come. And a reference call from the Poston PD in case we hear anything first.”
‘Could he be coming here Bobby?’ Noah asked. ‘What about that Hodge guy?’
“Nothing so far?” Bobby replied. “We are still checking.”
“I should have stayed in the school until he was safe.”
“Stop that!” Bobby snapped. “You we not the controller there Jamie. It was not your call to make. Nathaniel was safe. As safe as he ever had been.”
“What about Ethan?”
“This is not his op.”
‘What do you want us to do?’ Noah asked.
“I want you two and Jack in Boston ASAP. We will add to the briefing as you travel if we need to. Right now we need the two of you on sight. I have a call into Harry, he will join you as soon as he is free.”
