07: Ayala

Ayala smiled and nodded enthusiastically, relieved that she managed to make herself understood.
"Morning." She says as she stands. "Learn. Teach. Explore. I understand. Am ready."
As she finds her way back to her room she wonders how she's going to go about this. Bernice seemed intelligent enough, and Ayala had seen the elders in her brood teach others before, including herself. But she had no experience trying to teach anyone else before, let alone someone she could barely understand. Maybe some visual aids would help.....
She decided to head for the building exit first. sleep can wait a few more minutes. A leaf or two, a stick, a couple of rocks if she can find them. Things Bernice would recognize. They'll learn each others words for them.
It would be a start.
