10.07: Meeting the Police
NYPD Detective Reinhardt Jaeger was a good cop, he didn't always play things by the book but he was a good cop. He didn't take bribes or kickbacks, Reinhardt was stinking rich but that wasn't the reason he wasn't corrupt. No, he had become a policeman to do the right thing.
And the right thing was not always legal.
As an example of a right thing was making a stand against mutant hysteria, he wasn't a mutant but either or both of his children might be one day.
But that wasn't his reason for being a part of Xavier's network.
He liked the Institute which was the reason he came here now and then to give instruction on police procedure so those that Val Cooper-Xavier sent out into the field would understand the nature of the response of law enforcement.
