09.11: Boston Bound - Player Information

Both Jamie and Ethan able to separately get a quiet moment to themselves and activate their portable Cerebro scanners. Although portable the devices are a little cumbersome so they just carried the readers and the results were studied by Bobby Drake and Emma Frost. They were able to conform by coded text that there was a mutant in the school apart from Ethan and Jamie. Jack being baseline human of course did not register. Unfortunately they could not narrow the definition to locate the mutant without getting the devices closer to the target.
The abilities of the mutant were definitely active but without any overt signs then it was down to the scanners and their handlers to locate them.
Mutie was used as a derogatory term against anyone who was a bit of an oddball or just didn’t fit in with whatever group they weren’t in.
Jamie’s associates were a fountain of information, all of it useless, it was nothing more than gossip and rich kids being snide about lesser beings. They were coming up with nothing useful. The girl whose face had changed was a pageant queen, and had had extensive plastic surgery in Taiwan it turned out.
Ethan’s group was a lot more interesting but Lemarcus was looking to bunk off school which would effectively remove Ethan from the hunt if he went along.
