“School is not for everyone Deeg. And I was offering further education as an option. Gym, French and Spanish. Useful. We teach all of those. The one thing we are short of is faculty, staff, you might not like learning but to me it sounds like you have a natural affinity to nurture Deeg. We have kids here, traumatised kids, they need support, guidance, kindness. Our pastoral care is one of our highest priorities here.” Val Cooper-Xavier stopped speaking for a moment. “It might be something for you to do while you decide what you really want to do.”
