02.22: Danny Adeniran

Danny was excited to be going somewhere safe, he reckoned if Drake and Guthrie meant him and Aurora harm they had had more than ample chances to do that. So this place they had described sounded brilliant to him.
Yes, he was excited.
He watched the lake as the car skirted the lake, he saw the island but it didn’t look as if there was anything there but trees. He saw he was wrong as they crossed a really long bridge, once over it it became clear that there were a lot of buildings hidden in the woods.
“This place looks amazing!” he declared. Danny had been living on the street for a long time now, he had tried seeing his mom but she had not wanted to know. That had been a horrible encounter. Now he had the chance of living somewhere nice, with a proper roof and food. “Do I get a room of my own?”
