Minion Day Makeover

They had gotten permission to use the cosmology room. So, that's where they met. April was a little nervous about this but she really thought it would be a nice surprise for her date.

Justin was in a very chipper mood as he talked to the girls about their typical tastes in outfits and make-up. He knew full well it was hard for people to step out of their comfort zone so he planned to simply enhance the natural beauty they already had. He looked at April and Blossom as he had already done his research on his laptop the night before. Ironically he used his fashion software to create many makeovers for all the males and females in his group. He wanted to be prepared for the real event at the last moment and he considered it good training for his mind. Especially since fashion continued to change so often. He would simply add to each person's bio folder.

Justin: Sorry Blossom since April has plans later on she asked to go first. You don't mind, do you?

Blossom looked at April with a kind smile and understood.

Blossom: Oh of course. I don't have anything else to do later on anyway.

Justin: You are such a peach. I promise you will be pleased with the results.

Blossom nodded as she smiled at Justin who was like a charming white knight type in her eyes. She was not looking at him as a possible love interest, but as a great guy who was chivalrous and polite. She could see him being popular with the girls.

Then Justin looked at April and found out what she planned to wear for her date before deciding which direction to go. He pulled out some hair clips and a hairbrush so he could braid some portions of her hair to make it a bit more exotic. Then he added some product to add some volume to her straight hair and give it a slight wave in the volume and make it a bit poofier. Then he added some special hair spray to keep it in place a bit but still let it bounce and flow as she walked. Justin was very meticulous in his details as he inspected her hair like a professional. Then when he was done he took a step back and stood by Kyle as he asked him what he thought.

Then Justin went straight to the makeup where he added just enough to enhance her features; like her eyes, cheeks, jaw, eyebrows, chin, lips, and forehead. Using colors that blended well with her skin and made her eyes pop he was finally done. Then he stepped back by Kyle and asked him for his input as his eyes stayed on April. Justin was in the zone so his attention to detail was laser-focused.

Kyle just watched Justin work his magic on April and that was about the only way to describe it. Justin enhanced April's beauty but didn't go overboard. Kyle had an idea of what looked good but getting from point A to B on someone else wasn't something he was particularly skilled at.

April was excited and nervous about the makeover. When it was mentioned she'd go first April heard Blossom say it wasn't a problem. So, she turned to Blossom.

April: Thanks.

April saw both boys as friends. She was better friends, at the moment, with Kyle because they had had some in-depth conversation but after spending the day with Justin and him volunteering to make her over she did feel he now landed in the friend's category. Becoming close friends was just harder for her.

April knew both Kyle and Justin were popular with the girls. She wasn't attracted to them but she understood why, now.

Kyle looked over at April as her hair was finished.

Kyle: That looks really good. April what do you think?

April: I really like it.

Then came the makeup. April rarely wore any makeup at all. Justin managed to do her makeup but it looked natural.

Kyle: Oh, definitely. It brings out her eyes.

April: This will look so good with my dress.

Blossom dropped her jaw as Justin transformed April's plain look to that of a cute girl next door by simply adjusting her hair and make up. She was in disbelief even as she watched Justin do this to April and realized Justin could make her look pretty as well. It was like he had magic hands.

Blossom: Wow! You look so pretty..........(blush) I mean even more than before. That was amazing Justin.

Justin: Why thank you, Blossom. You will be next. I am glad you like it April. If you want we can do this again for the dances in the future. I love the practice and you get a free make-over at the last minute.

Blossom: Really? Are you sure? I mean that is a lot of work right?

Justin: True but it's also fun for me since it's my passion. I can also pick out outfits and jewelry as well if you need help there. I want to be a major designer in the future so I started my training years ago.

Blossom: You are so dedicated. I still don't know what I want to do after high school.

Justin: Take your time girl. It will come to you in all good time.

After April was done and pleased with her look as she stood by Kyle, Justin then took off Blossom's glasses and went to work with her hair. After a while, April had to leave so it was just Blossom, Justin, and Kyle. Blossom also had long straight hair so he added some product to add volume to it give it waves. Then he added some hair spray to it to keep it in place and inspected it for wild hairs. Then he fluffed it a bit before he smiled as he finished it.

Then he went straight to the make-up. Since Blossom had brown eyes a light skin he had to use some different colors for Blossom compared to April who had bright colored eyes. Again he only focused on enhancement to her natural beauty since it wanted her to feel pretty and not like a circus clown or catwalk model. There was a time and a place for everything when it came to fashion. When he was done Blossom looked very cute and attractive.

Justin: Well......what do you think?

Blossom looked in the mirror as Justin stood by Kyle. She was in complete awe as she looked at herself. She was hesitant to touch her face and hair as she didn't believe she was looking at herself. She couldn't speak for a moment as it looked like she was seeing her face for the first time. She almost broke down and cried till Justin told her she would ruin her makeup if she cried. Then Justin encouraged her by telling her he didn't do much to both April and her to reach this point. He even offered to teach her how to do makeup and hair in the future. Blossom was a bit frazzled as she actually felt pretty for the first time. She looked at Kyle and spoke up.

Blossom: What do you think?

April smiled at Blossom. She looked at herself once more in the mirror as of she couldn't believe it was her. She was so excited about going out with Dawn like this.

April: (to Blossom) Thanks. (To Justin) Oh, before the dances, if you have the time, would be great. Thank you so much for this. (Pause as she glanced at the time) I really have to get going though. I'll send you a pic of all of this with my dress on. Thank you so much.

An excited April left the room. And Kyle watched as Blossom was also transformed. Kyle smiled at Blossom.

Kyle: You look great, very nice.

He meant every word of that. Now, he was curious to see how many heads turned upon seeing Blossom with this new look.

Justin was very happy with his results as he gleamed with his smile. Blossom was still in awe as she could not believe that she could look cute. She wondered how Conner would react to seeing her in this look or even Carter or even any other guy in the school. Then she looked at Justin with a warm smile.

Blossom: Thank you, Justin. I never thought I could look like this. I mean back home they just called me plain, but now you just changed that like it was magic.

Justin: Oh girl you are too kind, but if you need help with a makeover I am always here for you.

Then Justin looked at Kyle with a sly smile as he spoke up.

Justin: I think little Blossom could use some help in seeing how others see her now. Perhaps we can take her out for dinner?

As Justin was making over Blossom, Kyle's phone buzzed. There was now a picture of April in her dress and all the stuff that went with it. She looked great and the words "Dawn also loves it" made him smile though he was pretty sure, at this point, Dawn liking what April looked like was a safe bet.

Kyle heard Justin mention dinner. "That's a great idea. How about if I find someplace for us to go?"

He texted someone for a moment and then said.

How about The Deck House. It's not overly fancy but nice. You both up for that?

Justin's ears perked up as Kyle suggested the Deck House.

Justin: Oh that sounds great. We can show off Blossom's new look there and see how many heads we turn.

Blossom blushed as Justin praised her while hinting that she was going with them regardless. She felt good that they liked her company and built up her confidence.

Blossom: Oh you are too much Justin. But umm I can't afford a fancy place like that.

Justin put his hands on his hips and gave Blossom a condescending smile before he spoke up.

Justin: Oh please girl. We invited you as our guest. Besides Kyle and I are still on the clock.

Justin gave Kyle a playful nudge and a wink as he was talking to Blossom.

Justin: Since April is off having fun without me, you get the pleasure of two minions today. Right, Kyle?

Kyle nodded.

Kyle: Absolutely. And yes it's our treat. It'll be fun. Why don't we go get ready and then Justin and I will meet you in front of the girl's dorms?

Kyle was actually thinking this would be fun. Besides, he knew most of the group, it seemed, had other plans for dinner tonight.

Justin was stoked by the idea of a fun dinner between the three of them. He even did a small victory wiggle as Blossom nodded in agreement. Blossom was happy to see the two boys eager to hang out with her. Then they split up to get cleaned up and changed. At first, she was worried about her clothes not working out with her makeover, but after putting on a nice red blouse and black slacks she looked in the mirror and was shocked as she still looked pretty. She was so giddy by her new look and wished Ashley was there to get her opinion. Once she was ready she made her way downstairs.

Meanwhile, Justin was in high spirits as changed his clothes and danced a bit. He felt good after two successful makeovers. Justin was also looking forward to being with Kyle as well. Any excuse to date him was a good one and having Blossom there would help keep their libido in check. Once he was happy with his look he headed downstairs.

Kyle was looking forward to this. Of course, any chance he had to spend with Justin was good with him. And it was nice to think they were doing something nice for Blossom.
